As Belarus took on the Netherlands in a World Cup 2018 qualifier in Minsk, Via Hansa DMC was making arrangements for the Dutch National Team, a sponsor and media group and contingent of die-hard Dutch supporters.
Guests of the 2014 IIHF World Championship will have the opportunity to see puppet theater performances during the 8th International Festival of Puppet Theaters which will be running in Minsk from 15 to 19 May. The festival will open with the Hamlet production by the Mogilev regional puppet theater. The organizers of the forum promise that it will be a very special version of the classic work.
On May 9-25, 2014 Minsk will host the 78th IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Games of the 2014 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship will staged at two multifunctional venues: Minsk Arena (for 15,000 seats, commissioned on January 30, 2010) and Chizhovka Arena (for 9,600 seats, completed in summer 2013).
On 28 of June Minsk presents breathtaking show Singing Fountains 2013. Over 24 tons of water will transfer in fountain spurts that will rise up to 7 meters dancing to live music performed by the symphony orchestra of the Belarusian State Musical Theater conducted by maestro Arkady Berin. Special design of German engineers allows fountain spurts create a form of seven pyramids that at the same time are highlighted by multicolored lights. This not to be missed event take place in Dreamland amusement park in city of Minsk.
In 2013 the process of creation of museums block in Vitebsk will continue. The block will be located in the centre of the city. Three buildings, historic and architectural monuments, will be used for this purpose. Museum of History of Vitebsk national art college will be placed in one of the buildings, Juriy Pan’s museum and the third building will be used as the Marc Chagall art-centre.
The concept of the museum of Vitebsk art college, created by Marc Chagall and Kazimir Malevich has been already worked out. It’s known that the museum will contain Juriy Pan’s pictures from fund of Vitebsk regional local history museum.
Creation of museums block in the centre of the city with developed infrastructure will promote the attraction of guests, will create the necessary condition for the further development of tourism in this region.
According to the data provided by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) as a result of the annual research, Belarus has been included in the Top-10 countries with the fastest growing travel.
The focus of travel has rapidly moved eastward, and 2013 and beyond continues that inexorable journey.
