VIA HANSA & BOREALIS ON ARCTIC EXPEDITION

With the recovery of the travel industry, the focus of Via Hansa & Borealis in the Nordic countries has been very much on the Arctic areas. Recently a larger group of the company’s Product Designers, Creative Directors, Tour Directors and Sales & Operations Managers went on an expedition of almost two weeks touring Swedish and Finnish Lapland. During the last years the infrastructure in these areas has continued to develop, as well as local entrepreneurs have developed a lot of new facilities and activities. The participants in the arctic expedition visited plenty of new accommodation facilities, acquainted themselves with new possibilities, discussed new products with the authorities and entrepreneurs. The participants came back with a lot of new knowledge and impressions, and with a lot of great new ideas for bespoke tours and services for discerned travelers. We believe that these Arctic areas both as winter and summer destinations will become even more popular in the years to come.
