NEW HESTIA CHAIN HOTEL IN TALLINN

The Estonian company Hestia Hotel Group has opened another brand new hotel in the city centre of Tallinn. The new 4-star Hotel Kentmanni is opening now in December 2019. This is the ninth hotel of this chain with majority of the properties being in Estonia and two in Riga, Latvia.

Via Hansa & Borealis are now effective from October 2019 a member of Nordic Tourism Collective (NTC) and European Tourism Operator Association (ETOA). The decision to join both organizations was driven by the new initiative of NTC to support the tourism trade in Nordic and Baltic countries with the aim to increase the recognition of the whole region and promote sustainable tourism on the core destinations of Via Hansa & Borealis.

Via Hansa & Borealis has over the last ten years been specializing in tours with the Trans-Siberian Railroads. The company is offering very exclusive tours with the deluxe “Imperial Russia” train both in summer or winter. The summer tours are going from Moscow to Vladivostok and Beijing or vice versa and the winter tours go to Murmansk to discover Arctic Russia and the Northern Lights.

COPENHAGEN METRO CITY RING LINE OPENS

Following eight years of construction, September 29th saw the opening of the City Ring Line of the Copenhagen Metro adding seventeen new state-of-the-art metro stations to the existing network. With the new addition Copenhagen Metro now totally has thirty-seven stations linking all neighbourhoods of the city centre together.
