BALTICVISION, one of the two brands of Via Hansa & Borealis specializing in Guaranteed Escorted Tours, is again celebrating a record year. The bookings are up this year with almost 15% and the company is operating over 4000 passengers on its tours this summer. BALTICVISION is now preparing for the summer 2020 and is offering new products and targeting new markets. For 2020 the traditional main catalogue features thirty tours and over three hundred departures including a new 13-days Baltic Amber Coast Tour starting in Gdansk and going along the Baltic coast line through Kaliningrad and the three Baltic countries to Finland an onwards to St. Petersburg.

For 2020 BALTICVISION is again producing a special catalogue for the Spanish speaking markets featuring seventeen tours and over two hundred departures. Finally, BALTICVISION is also launching a new catalogue for 2020 aimed at the Asian markets. This catalogue features four programs and twenty-four tours running in English and Mandarin languages. The main catalogue is ready and has been distributed to all customers worldwide, while the Spanish catalogue is being finalized now and will shortly be distributed to all Spanish and Portuguese speaking markets. The full WORLD OF BOREALIS catalogue Winter 2019/Summer 2020 Guaranteed Escorted Tours has been released recently. Some of the tours are well-known to our customers already and others are brand new. Our winter travellers now have the option to begin their adventure in Stockholm and continue up to the northernmost Sweden before continuing to the magnificent Lofoten Archipelago, Tromso and Finnish Lapland. It is also worth mentioning that the Fabulous Scandinavia tour price has been reduced without compromising the quality of our product. The new Hilton Garden Inn Hotel Riga is opening now by the end of September. The hotel has an unbeatable location in the Riga Old Town almost adjacent to one of the city's most famous buildings, known as the House of the Blackheads. The hotel has 100 contemporary guest rooms and plans to enlarge the capacity to 175 rooms by 2021. The restaurant has currently 80 seats and its capacity will be enlarged by 2021 as well. The hotel has two conference rooms that can be connected into one big room for 95 persons. As per the new concept the hotel has a 24/7 shop to replace the minibars in guest rooms, nevertheless the small in-room fridges are left for the convenience of the hotel guests.
